160 families evacuated in Surigao del Sur town ahead of Basyang

BAYABAS, Surigao del Sur – A total of 160 families, or 430 individuals, from flood-prone villages here were preemptively evacuated on Thursday, according to the town’s Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
