Cebu governor’s security beefed up amid reported assassination plot

MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Gov. Pamela Baricuatro’s security detail was beefed up by the Philippine National Police amid a supposed assassination plot, the PNP said on Monday. In a press briefing in Camp Crame, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño said Baricuatro’s assistant received the threat online last Friday in which the sender claimed a
