Detained journalist Cumpio’s rights will be protected – PTFoMS

MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) said it will ensure that the rights of community journalist Frenchie Mae Cumpio will be protected during her detention. The Tacloban Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 45 earlier denied Cumpio and humanitarian worker Mariel Domequil’s petition for bail after convicting them of terrorism financing.
