Female lawmakers unite against Suntay’s lewd remarks on Anne Curtis

MANILA, Philippines — Marking the International Women’s Month, female lawmakers on Monday voiced solidarity against Rep. Jesus “Bong” Suntay’s lewd remarks and highlighted other pressing issues affecting roughly half of the world’s population. Suntay’s lewd comment about actress Anne Curtis last week has already drawn flak from fellow lawmakers and prompted a House ethics complaint.
