House OKs bill allowing fuel excise tax suspension during emergencies

MANILA, Philippines — A bill that will give President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. the power to suspend the collection of excise tax on fuel during emergencies has been approved by the House of Representatives on third and final reading. During the plenary session on Monday, 247 lawmakers voted in favor of House Bill (HB) No. 8418, which
