Lacson begins initial probe into allegations of ‘ex-Marine bagmen’

MANILA, Philippines — Preparatory examinations have begun against the allegations that former military personnel delivered billions of pesos to government officials, Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo Lacson said on Thursday. In a statement, Lacson was said to have “iniated the preliminary checks” even before Sen. Imee Marcos referred to the blue ribbon committee Senate Resolution
