Oil firms admit: Excise tax suspension won’t be felt immediately

MANILA, Philippines — Any suspension of excise taxes on fuel would not be felt immediately by the public since oil companies have to exhaust its remaining products that have been taxed already, a representative from independent industry players said on Tuesday. During the hearing of the House of Representatives’ committee on ways and means, panel head
