MANILA, Philippines – OpenAI will be shutting down its Sora video app, its generative artificial intelligence application designed to create videos from prompts. It did not provide a reason for the shutdown. A Disney spokesperson told Variety in its report: “As the nascent AI field advances rapidly, we respect OpenAI’s decision to exit the video generation business and to shift its priorities elsewhere.
