Kanlaon Volcano emits ash twice on Monday morning

MANILA, Philippines — Two ash emission events were observed at the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island Region on Monday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).  Phivolcs said that the volcano emitted ash between 9:01 a.m. to 9:29 a.m. and 10:29 a.m. to 11:07 a.m.  READ: Kanlaon Volcano
