PH assumes Asean-BAC chairship; to focus on enhanced trade, investments

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday said the Philippines will focus on enhancing trade and investments and creating business opportunities across Southeast Asia as the country assumes the Association of Southeast Asian Nations–Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Chairship for 2026. In his speech during the handover ceremony in Malacañang, the President said the
