PNP eyes digital literacy training to fight online financial fraud

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said it was considering digital literacy training programs for police officers to boost the fight against online financial fraud. The agency cited that its Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) arrested eight individuals in separate operations across the country last Wednesday for allegedly selling their electronic wallet accounts.
