PNP intensifies security in Tawi-Tawi to prevent ‘backdoor exits’

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) said Wednesday that it further strengthened security measures in Tawi-Tawi to prevent high-profile individuals from using “backdoor exits” to evade the law. According to the PNP in a statement, its chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. already ordered provincial police to strengthen their presence in areas reportedly
