Rights groups call for release of Edsa protesters arrested by PNP

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), Sanlakas, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan), and Samahan ng Progresibong Kabataan (SPARK) condemn the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) arrest of two activists during the People Power march along Edsa. Edel Parducho is a member of PAHRA, while Three Odeña is a youth activist from SPARK.
