Shear line brings floods, suspends classes in Samar provinces

TACLOBAN CITY — Heavy rains brought by a shear line affecting Eastern Visayas prompted the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools across the entire province of Northern Samar and in several areas of Samar on Monday. Local authorities raised alerts over flooding, landslides, and rough seas in the area.
