Sotto: Legarda eyed to sit as Senate president for 2 to 3 months

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Loren Legarda may sit as the first female Senate president for two to three months before the end of the 20th Congress if the plan pushes through. She would take the Senate leadership after the approval of the 2027 budget or before her term ends in 2028, according to Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto
