Third tranche of pay hike for civilian gov’t workers takes effect

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) started implementing the third tranche of the updated salary schedule for civilian government personnel effective January 1, 2026. The salary increase is based on National Budget Circular No. 601 (NBC No. 601) dated January 22, issued by acting Budget Secretary Rolando Toledo. The circular was based on Executive
