Torre on wife’s traffic violations: No special treatment from MMDA

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Nicolas Torre III said the agency enforces traffic rules equally, following his wife’s receipt of multiple violation notices. Torre said he isn’t only the MMDA’s general manager but also joked that he was the “general payor” for his wife Patricia Jane Torre’s fines. “At the
