Tubod River in Iligan City swells; bridge closed to traffic

ILIGAN CITY – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has temporarily closed a bridge along the national highway here as the Tubod River swelled due to continuous heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Basyang. In a public advisory around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, DPWH-10 said the river had reached the critical water level.
